How to use

How to use this site

Free SAT study and practice. No account needed.

Learn a topic

Open the Reading and Writing guides or the Math guides. Choose a guide, then a lesson. Try the worked examples before opening their solutions, and use the lesson’s practice link to check your understanding.

Use Check answer for feedback. Written self-checks have model answers and are not automatically scored.

Take a test or browse questions

Go to Practice tests and choose a Standard or Advanced test. Start a full test, or open Section tests and browsing for a Math-only test, a Reading and Writing-only test, or untimed Browse questions with solutions. These options use the same questions; Browse saves separately from timed attempts.

Read the directions, then start each module. Timed-test answers stay hidden until you finish the test. You can pause the timer. Full tests offer a 10-minute break before Math; continue when you’re ready. For shorter sessions, see Additional timed practice.

Resume and review

Open My practice to resume tests, Browse sessions or guide practice, return to recently studied lessons, and review completed test results. Results include answers and time per question, with category and outcome filters. Use Print/Save as PDF or download an offline report to keep a copy. Scores are raw practice results, not SAT scaled scores.

Saved progress stays in this browser on this device and does not sync. Clearing browser data removes it.
